Stafylidis stays at VfL
Not a newcomer to VfL…Konstantinos Stafylidis is returning to anne Castroper having spent the past season here on loan. VfL Bochum 1848 has signed the Greek international permanently from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. His contract will run until 30/06/2023. Both clubs do not make any statements about the transfer fee and contract modalities. Stafylidis has already appeared in 26 competitive games for VfL in the 2021/22 season.

VfL Bochum 1848 has signed Ukrainian international Ivan Ordets on a one-year deal. This is made possible thanks to special rules adopted by FIFA as a result of the war in Ukraine. According to them, the contracts of foreign professionals playing in Russia may be suspended until 30/06/2023. Ivan Ordets has been playing for Russian Premier League club Dinamo Moscow since 2019.
