Stafylidis stays at VfL

Not a newcomer to VfL…Konstantinos Stafylidis is returning to anne Castroper having spent the past season here on loan. VfL Bochum 1848 has signed the Greek international permanently from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. His contract will run until 30/06/2023. Both clubs do not make any statements about the transfer fee and contract modalities. Stafylidis has already appeared in 26 competitive games for VfL in the 2021/22 season.

Stafy feels comfortable at VfL, he will help us with his experience, positive spirit and mentality to reach the class goal again.”

Konstantinos Stafylidis is looking forward to a new chapter in Bochum: “I’m happy to be back here, the number 16 is back. Last year was one of the most extraordinary in my career. VfL is a great club, the fans are fantastic, the atmosphere in the Vonovia Ruhrstadion is phenomenal. Together, we will do everything we can to provide many emotional moments again this season in order to stay in the division at the end of the season.”
