Christmas season fundraiser

The run up to Christmas is already in full swing. It’s less than three weeks until Christmas Eve, and celebration with family and loved ones. For many children and families, however, the living situation is currently depressing. This is exacerbated due to the Corona pandemic. To help these people, Bochum organisations are on hand with a variety of offers.

“You gave everything – Bochum, we are proud of you” has been echoing along Castroper Street for many years. With that in mind, we would like to call on our blue and white fan base and our companions to contribute again this year and support Bochum organisations under the motto “Celebrate with family”. This way, many eyes can shine with joy at Christmas.

HERE, WHERE THE HEART STILL COUNTS, we want to use our Christmas campaign as a BOCHUM COMMUNITY to support precisely those organisations that are particularly committed to helping children and families. These include the following five organisations:

– Ev. Jugendhilfe Bochum

– Ev. Children and Youth House gGmbH

– ViA Ruhr Association for integrative work e.V.

– Neue Wege (Caritas)

– Ev. Overdyck Foundation

Starting today, St. Nicholas Day, December 6, 2021, you can donate here. As a “starting signal”, VfL Bochum 1848 has supported the campaign with 3,000 euros. At the end of the fundraising campaign, the donations will be distributed evenly among all five organisations.
