Drexler: “I would like to be a role model”

And suddenly the moment had arrived: Pellegrino Matarazzo called Tim Drexler over to him during the away match in Frankfurt, gave him some final instructions and a matter of moments later the central defender was a Bundesliga player. “The debut came as something of a surprise to me. I was only really able to reflect on what had happened over the summer. From my first appearance up to the final matchday of the season, it felt like a dream. It all happened so quickly that I didn’t have much time to think about it.”

FCA to play charity match in Dinkelscherben

Together with SSV Ulm, we’re hoping for a great crowd on 5th September to financially support the victims of the flooding.”

Travel information for the match against Kiel

Due to the expected number of spectators at the stadium and the high volume of traffic, TSG Hoffenheim recommend travelling early and using public transport. Additional buses will be running to the PreZero Arena on Saturday. A shuttle service, which will run every 15 minutes, will take visitors from Sinsheim/Elsenz railway station (from the bus stop on the side facing the railway tracks) to the stadium (Sinsheim-Süd industrial estate, opposite AVR) and back again. A shuttle service has also been organised on various routes to take visitors directly to the stadium from towns in the surrounding area.
