The members of TSG Hoffenheim e.V. were informed last week in writing, by post or via email, about the ordinary general meeting and the upcoming election of the new First Chairperson (the announcement of 16 August can be found here at tsg-hoffenheim.de). Following this, Jörg Albrecht was officially put forward to the club as a candidate by a member. As of 19 August 2024, he is the only candidate running for the role of First Chairperson.

Petkov made his Bundesliga debut on the final matchday of the 2020/21 season, signing his first professional contract shortly after. The midfielder went on to feature eight times in the Bundesliga for FCA. He then joined third-division side SC Verl in search of more playing time (37 games, 11 goals). The following season, Petkov moved to second-division side Greuther Fürth on loan, going on to feature in 44 competitive matches for the club.
