The Wolves are kicking off their new campaign with a glamour tie right off the bat, hosting record Bundesliga winners Bayern Munich at the Volkswagen Arena on Sunday 25 August (15:30 CEST). This will be the first time since 2012/13 that Bayern are not the defending champions, however.

SV Werder Bremen opened the 2024/25 Bundesliga season with a 2-2 draw at FC Augsburg. Now, we need to look back on the game and keep our intensity high, so we can go at it again next week and iron out any mistakes.”
