FC Zuzenhausen used to be regarded as one of the biggest – perhaps even the very biggest – rival of TSG Hoffenheim. Many emotional local derbies were played out in the neighbouring town. But the two clubs have now became friends and boast an excellent relationship with each other. FC Zuzenhausen 1920, who are based not far from TSG’s training ground in Zuzenhausen, have become the perfect neighbour. Werder’s Milos Veljkovic gave his all for Serbia until the very end of their European Championships journey, yet narrowly missed out on reaching the round of 16 in his first time competing at the tournament. “Unfortunately, we weren’t able to pick up any points against Denmark and couldn’t get the ball over the line,” admitted the 28-year-old after the goalless draw. Nevertheless, Veljkovic was a key player for Serbia throughout the tournament, and reached a number of personal milestones over the past few weeks while in action for his nation.
“Despite the heartbreak of relegation and a few problems with injuries, I’ll look back very positively on my time at Wehen Wiesbaden. I was able to get a lot of playing time and prove myself in the 2. Bundesliga. At KSC, I now have the opportunity to push on and establish myself as a regular starter in a strong team,” says Günther.
Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch might be dead-set on leaving the club and could be ready to force his way out in hopes of joining Liverpool FC or another club willing to give him more playing time:

Pauline Wimmer returned to 1. FC Union Berlin in the summer of 2022, having already played for Union in the 2. Bundesliga at the age of 15 in the 2016/17 season. This was followed by four years at Bayer 04 Leverkusen, where she made 16 Bundesliga appearances, and one season at Blau-Weiß Hohen Neuendorf. During this time, Wimmer suffered two serious knee injuries at the age of 19.
