TSG congratulate FC Zuzenhausen on Oberliga promotion

FC Zuzenhausen used to be regarded as one of the biggest – perhaps even the very biggest – rival of TSG Hoffenheim. Many emotional local derbies were played out in the neighbouring town. But the two clubs have now became friends and boast an excellent relationship with each other. FC Zuzenhausen 1920, who are based not far from TSG’s training ground in Zuzenhausen, have become the perfect neighbour. TSG play friendly fixtures on the FC Zuzenhausen premises time and time again during pre-season, as is also the case this year against SV Elversberg on 24 July.

Fittingly, TSG Hoffenheim were also among the guests at FC Zuzenhausen’s promotion party. The club gained promotion to the Oberliga as Verbandsliga champions and celebrated their success on the club premises on 27 June. Managing Director for Sport Alexander Rosen and First Chairman Kristian Baumgärtner represented TSG and congratulated their neighbours on behalf of the club in the form of a signed shirt and free tickets for Hoffenheim’s first home game in European competition.
