Following back-to-back coronavirus-enforced cancellations, the Volkswagen Arena grounds will once again host a green-and-white celebration for supporters young and old on Saturday 23 July. The VfL Family Festival and VfL Kids Day will offer an exciting, fun-packed programme of activities between 11am and 4pm local time, when the Wolves face Brentford in a pre-season friendly at the AOK Stadion.

Whether it’s the players’ tunnel, the dugout or the mixed zone, you’re guaranteed exciting glimpses behind the scenes on our guided tours of the Volkswagen Arena. As part of the VfL Family Festival and VfL Kids Day, the club is offering eight short tours (duration approx. 25 minutes) free of charge this Saturday. The tours will take place every 30 minutes, starting at midday and ending at 3:30pm. Each tour is limited to 30 people and the meeting point is the Volkswagen Arena’s VIP entrance hall, where you can sign up for the tours on the day itself.

Seven days before VfL play their first competitive game of the 2022/23 campaign – away to Jena in the DFB Cup – they will look to end pre-season on a high and gain precious self-confidence in their final friendly of the summer against Premier League outfit Brentford. The game at the AOK Stadion kicks off straight after the VfL Family Festival and VfL Kids Day, at 4pm local time, giving Green-and-Whites supporters the perfect end to an enjoyable summer’s day. Anyone who still wishes to purchase tickets for the Wolves’ final fixture of pre-season should do so as soon as possible.
