Solidarity is the theme of the new home kit which VfB will be sporting throughout the 2024/25 season. “Der Brustring verbindet” (“The ring that binds”) is the slogan behind the shirt, representing the unity and solidarity of the city, the region and the whole VfB family. Another exciting element is the famous ring transformed into a heart inside the collar of the jersey, encapsulating love for VfB.
Recalling special VfB moments from days gone by
After an absence of over 40 years, the continuous red ring across the chest returned to VfB’s kit for the 2015/16 season. And in another nod to the past, harking back to some of VfB’s most famous moments of recent decades, the red ring across the chest is sewn in rather than just printed. As such, the new home jersey recalls the league- and cup-winning seasons of the 1950s and the Bundesliga champions’ jersey of 1984. Other features of the shirt include the collar and the new lettering on the back, which also reminds fans of glory days of the past.
Special elements and trademark JAKO quality
The new lettering on the home jersey is once again all in black, with the numbers on the back featuring prominently, while the VfB ring is back on the matching shorts and socks. The new home kit is available in men’s sizes S to 5XL and women’s sizes 34 to 44, costing €84.99. It also comes in children’s sizes 116 to 164, at €64.99.
