Thomas Reis (head coach VfL Bochum 1848): The game was very, very annoying for us. I don’t know how to describe it. In the first half, we could have turned the game in our favour. We simply have to take the 100 percent chance to make it 2-0, then the game might have been different. Because of the second half, the victory for Eintracht is okay. What happened after the break simply must not happen to us. We let Frankfurt play and didn’t get a grip on the game. In the final third, we weren’t determined enough to score another goal. We will work on that and earn the necessary points.

Oliver Glasner (head coach Eintracht Frankfurt): We had the first good chance of the game and then fall behind with the opponent’s first chance. The 0:1 was an impact goal. After that, we staggered, made many simple mistakes. Kevin Trapp kept us in the game with a spectacular save. But shortly before half-time, we got into the game better, had a lot of set-pieces, but we didn’t find the right man. In the second half, we had the necessary luck, for example, when we scored the equaliser. Our tackling was outstanding, which was ultimately the key to success.

Anthony Losilla: In the first 15 minutes in the second half, we defended poorly. That’s why we conceded the two goals and, in the end, lost the game. We were in control in the first half. But when you aren’t wide awake against such a strong team, you get punished for this. That’s what happened to us tonight. We have to put the game behind us and move on.

Sebastian Polter: We simply completely lost our focus in the first 10 to 15 minutes of the second half. That’s why we lost the game in the end. We played very well in the first 45 minutes – away from home! We can be proud of that. Due to our sleepiness in the second half, we probably deserved to lose.

Konstantions Stafylidis: It was a very good game for us – except for the first 15 minutes after the break. We lost concentration, which is why we conceded the two goals. At this level in the Bundesliga, you are punished ice-cold. That’s what happened to us today.
