We already saw last season that we can put in a very good performance at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei.” said Union’s managing director of women’s professional football, Jennifer Zietz, on the draw. “We will do everything we can to make the 2nd round against Leipzig as exciting as possible. We are aware that a Bundesliga team with these qualities are the favourite.”

I was in Dinkelscherben myself and personally saw the massive damage that was caused,” said FCA’s CEO Michael Ströll. “After already supporting the fantastic work done by Schwabenhilfe Augsburg, we came up with the idea of playing a charity match during the international break. Together with SSV Ulm, we’re hoping for a great crowd on 5th September to financially support the victims of the flooding.”
