The first competitive match of the season is just around the corner and you can be there: tickets for the DFB-Pokal match away to Würzburger Kickers (16 August/18:00 CEST) went on sale at 14:00 CEST on Tuesday (9 July). TSG Hoffenheim members and season ticket holders can view the match and purchase their tickets after logging in. The ticket limit is five tickets per member/season ticket holder. After booking, the tickets will be sent by the TSG ticket department as Print@Home tickets in a separate e-mail. This should be done within one week of booking. The advance sale ends on Tuesday, 13 August 2024 at 17:00 CEST.

The 27-year-old midfielder arrives from Japanese top-flight club Nojima Stella Kanagawa Sagamihara. She previously played in the Bundesliga for 1. FC Köln.
Banks, who holds both German and American citizenship, has been at FC Augsburg since the U10 age group. The 1.93m centre-back played 16 games in the U19 Bundesliga and six matches in the Regionalliga Bayern for the U23s last season. The youngster scored two goals in these six games in the fourth division. Banks has also represented the United States, including at the U17 World Cup last winter.
“We were clearly the better team today and could’ve scored four or more goals,” said head coach Alexander Straus (via FCBayern.com). “We had to settle the game earlier. We showed fantastic football. We made the opponents run around and used the space. But Hoffenheim are a good team and we knew it would be a tough game. The relief at winning is obviously big. I’m proud of how the team performed.”
TSG are giving away 3×2 tickets for the season opener on 10 August, when English first division side Fulham come to the Kraichgau. If you guess the five players quickly, your chances of winning will increase. The closing date for entries is Tuesday 16 July 2024 at 23:59 CEST. The winner will be notified by email within a week.
