You’ve played every minute of every competitive match this season. Did you expect that a few months ago?
Micky: “You obviously hope to get as many minutes as possible. When you then don’t miss a second of the early matches, it doesn’t really get any better for a 21-year-old. It’s really great.”
Let’s come to the current training camp. What are your impressions?
Micky: “It’s not the same process as the training camp in Austria – it’s a bit less intensive. Nevertheless we’re doing exactly what we need to do in order to be ready for the first Bundesliga game after the World Cup and winter break. I must also say that the training and the intensity within our team are really good. We’re all very fit, so I think we’re ready for the first competitive game. We’ll all play another 90 minutes in the friendly against Augsburg on Saturday, which is also great for the legs.”
