Mahmoud Dahoud made 162 Bundesliga appearances for Borussia Dortmund (2017-2023) and Borussia Mönchengladbach (2010-2017) before his move to the Seagulls, as well as 30 outings in the Champions League, 19 in the DFB Cup and 11 in the Europa League. A former European Under-21 Championship winner, Mahmoud registered 13 goals and 33 assists during his first spell in Germany.
