When granting licences, the DFL checks the financial capabilities as well as the infrastructural, legal, HR, administrative, media and sporting criteria which the licence holder has to fulfil. The DFL can make the eligibility to play subject to certain requirements or dependent on conditions that need to be fulfilled before the licence is granted.
