Ørjan Nyland leaves RB Leipzig

Goalkeeper Ørjan Nyland will leave RB Leipzig on 30th June 2023. The 32-year-old joined the club in September 2022 after captain Péter Gulácsi suffered an ACL injury that ruled him out for the season.

Ny quickly integrated himself into the team and went on to make three appearances for the club. As well as the Bundesliga games against Leverkusen (matchday 12) and Schalke (matchday 34), Nyland also started the 3-1 win against Hoffenheim in the DFB-Pokal round of 16.

To crown a successful spell at the club, Nyland and his teammates lifted the DFB-Pokal in June.
