Summer schedule: First friendlies confirmed

The 2021/22 season is just over, but VfL Bochum 1848 are already looking forward when the first team will pick up the regular training sessions again on 20th June, 11:00 CET. The session is going to be open to the public.

The first friendlies have already been scheduled, furthermore, the 23rd July was set as the final test match before the season kicks off about one week later with the DFB Cup competition. The first opponents have already been fixed: Initially VfL will be travelling to Wuppertaler SV (25th June), to 1 FC Monheim (29th June) as well as to 1 FC Bocholt (2nd July), before another two games against Dutch premier league side Erstligisten Fortuna Sittard (6th July) and 2nd Bundesliga club SC Paderborn (8th July) are on the schedule.

The training camp is going to take place between the re-start of the training sessions and the final test match, which again lies in Gais in South Tyrol. Like in the previous year, in summer 2022 also two test games are planned on-site. The summer schedule will be updated successively.

10.07. – 17.07.2022: Training camp in the holiday region Kronplatz, Hotel Windschar, Ulrich-von-Tauffers-Str. 3, I – 39030 Gais, South Tyrol, two test matches planned
