Hartwig loaned out to St. Pölten

Luis Hartwig will not be around at Castroper Straße in the 2022/23 season, the homegrown player will be loaned to the Austrian league until 30/06/2023. The 19-year-old will go in the coming season for the second-division club SKN St. Pölten on the hunt for goals.

“We want to offer the guys from our academy as much playing practice as possible, but that will be difficult given the performance density in our Bundesliga squad,” said Sebastian Schindzielorz, Director of Sport at VfL Bochum 1848. “Luis now has the chance to prove himself playing men’s football, with an ambitious team. We will closely follow the progress of his development.”
