After a doubleheader of friendlies against 1. FC Union Berlin on Saturday, FC Augsburg gave the players a chance to rest and recover on Sunday. A few players headed out to the golf course in the afternoon.

The morning started with a short running session for three groups of players under a cloudy sky in Spain. The remaining players were biking inside the hotel. Arne Maier, who celebrated his 24th birthday today, was also serenaded by his teammates at lunch.

Afterwards, the team were giving the afternoon off. Mads Petersen, Fredrik Jensen and Frederik Winther headed off to play a round of golf, while other players used the time to relax, complete their media duties or receive treatment from the physios.

FCA will remain in Algorfa until Thursday, and will play one final friendly against Hungarian double-winners Ferencváros before returning home (15:00 CET).
