The mood was captured by reporters after the game, when the elated Werder players wanted to focus above all on the team performance.

SV Werder Bremen have agreed a loan deal with VfL Wolfsburg for Maximilian Philipp. The 28-year-old attacker joins the Green-Whites until the end of the season, subject to a medical examination. In addition, Oliver Burke is about to complete a loan move to another club, also dependent on a medical.
