After some of the players who were on international duty over the summer returned to training yesterday, on Wednesday morning it was Maximilian Mittelstädt’s turn.

The 26-year-old has been a part of Union’s Bundesliga team since the summer of 2023 and has made 32 games appearances for them over the past two seasons. In addition to 24 Bundesliga games, the Czech international also made two appearances in the DFB Pokal and six in the UEFA Champions League.
