Do you have €30 million? If so, you can get Bayern Munich’s Benjamin Pavard…TODAY!

If one of the rumored clubs interested in the Frenchman is willing to pay €30 million, they can have Pavard…today:

TSG Hoffenheim

Travel information for the match against Bremen

Due to the expected number of spectators at the stadium and the high volume of traffic, TSG Hoffenheim recommend travelling early and using public transport. Additional buses will be running to the PreZero Arena on Sunday. A shuttle service, which will run every 15 minutes, will take visitors from Sinsheim/Elsenz railway station (from the bus stop on the side facing the railway tracks) to the stadium (Sinsheim-Süd industrial estate, opposite AVR) and back again. A shuttle service has also been organised on various routes to take visitors directly to the stadium from towns in the surrounding area.

VfL Wolfsburg

Battle of youth

In 56 competitive matches against Stuttgart, the Wolves have lost more (26) than they’ve won (22). However, if you discount the five encounters in the DFB Cup, when the Green-and-Whites were largely playing in the lower leagues, then the head-to-head record against VfB reads considerably more favourably going into the next meeting on Saturday 28 September (kick-off 15:30 CEST). Another good thing: there’s never been a goalless draw between the teams on Wolfsburg soil. Here are more facts and figures ahead of the home game against last season’s Bundesliga runners-up:

Report: Bayern Munich plan to outbid Arsenal, Man United for Declan Rice by offering a huge salary

While most reports from England maintain that Rice wants to stay in the league, the German giants are becoming increasingly confident of signing the 24-year-old as the club’s new defensive midfielder. Thomas Tuchel reportedly has Rice as his top target for the summer, to complement Joshua Kimmich in the starting XI.

Ailien Poese Extends her Contract

In her first season as head coach, Union finished second in the Regionalliga Nordost. They impressed particularly after Christmas, finishing as the best team in the second half of the season. In the 2023/24 season, the team – now fully equipped with professional contracts and fully focused on football – won every competitive game and dominated the league with a goal difference of 145-5. In the subsequent promotion play-off matches against Henstedt-Ulzburg, her side were superb and, after seven years in the Regionalliga, were promoted back to the 2. Bundesliga. The club secured the double by winning the Berlin regional cup.

Somehow, Bayern Munich still has Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane on list of transfer targets

Twitter account @iMiaSanMia captured the brief report which lists Kane, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani, and Juventus attacker Dušan Vlahović on its list of transfer targets:

SC Freiburg

Johan Manzambi signs a new contract

“Johan already impressed us at the end of last season when training with the first team. He’s taken another big step in his development so far this term. His hunger, power and desire in the final third are all great attributes,” said sporting director Klemens Hartenbach. “Johan has a great mix of sporting quality and a realistic and humble opinion of himself. These are things that have often helped SC academy players in the past. We’re delighted that he’s extended his contract.”

VfB Stuttgart

“It’s going to be hard work”

VfB Stuttgart travel to VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday – a much tougher task than the current league table suggests.

1. FC Union Berlin

Union’s Women Host FC Bayern München II

FC Bayern II only played their first 2. Liga game of the season last Sunday. Due to the U20 World Cup in Colombia, which took place from August to September, the first three games for the U23 team were postponed. They finally kicked off last weekend with the game against Hamburger SV, which they lost 1-0.

Thorup: “Full focus on the task at hand”

Thorup already held a number of team talks on Saturday and at the start of the week in which he hoped to fine tune some defensive frailties. After the first four games of the season, the tally already stands at ten goals conceded. However, he emphasised that not only the defence bears responsibility in this regard. “We need to defend better as a team, and have worked intensely on that over the past couple days,” explained Thorup, adding, “The Mainz game is done and in the past. We now require full focus on the task at hand.” The main positive that the Danish coach took from that game was the number of scoring opportunities that his team created. “That was pleasing to see,” reflected Thorup.
