With a 3-1 win at Bochum before the international break, Wolfsburg celebrated their second league win of the season and gained a confidence boost ahead of the meeting against Werder Bremen this Sunday, 20 October (kick-off 17:30 CEST). Both sides find themselves in mid-table and are hoping for the points to lift them up towards the upper end. Bremen have registered two wins, two draws and two losses so far this term.
