Arsenal have been handed a boost as the contract talks for William Saliba are said to be heading in the right direction amid interest from PSG.

According to Dharmesh Sheth, Gunners fans can rest a bit easier as contract talks are said to be progressing “positively” for the defender.
“I’m told that talks over a new contract for Saliba are progressing positively,” Sheth told Sky Sports.
“He’s got one year left on his contract after Arsenal activated the one-year option until 2024. But it’s thought that there is a willingness from all parties to get this deal over the line.”
While Arsenal did miss out on the Premier League title, few can deny that they are building in the right direction.
The club also seem keen to further bolster their squad this summer.
While Arsenal are keen to add to their squad, Arteta has reaffirmed the importance of keeping their best players at the club, particularly Saliba.
“Obviously [technical director] Edu and the board are on top of every negotiation regarding new contracts and now we are doing everything we possibly can to do that in the right moment at the right time.”
