VfL Wolfsburg have strengthened their attacking department with the signing of Mohamed Amoura. The 24-year-old joins from Union Saint-Gilloise, who finished second in the Belgian Pro League last season and won the Belgian Cup. “Mohamed has attracted a lot of attention due to his qualities,” said VfL sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz. “We’re pleased that he’ll be a VfL Wolfsburg player going forward. He fits our requirements perfectly, offers immense speed and goal threat and can play in multiple positions in attack. We’re sure he’ll provide a lot of joy to VfL and the Bundesliga as a whole.”
Amoura is looking forward to his new challenge in the Bundesliga: “I’m proud and happy that I can play for such a big club in Germany. I’ve always had the Bundesliga in mind as the next step in my career, so VfL Wolfsburg is the perfect match for me.”
