This Saturday, 1. FC Union Berlin and their equipment supplier adidas presented the first jersey made exclusively for their women’s team. The away kit will be used for the first time on Sunday as Union travel to play against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
The new shirts were presented by the original and current generation of players as Lisa Heiseler, Charleen Niesler and Latoya Bach met with their predecessors Silvia Trompeteler, Sabine Landsberger and Waltraud Krüger from Union’s first ever women’s team, founded in 1969, at the East Side Gallery.
The black jerseys with their tailored cut offer maximum comfort and a good fit for Union’s women both on the pitch and in the stands. Bright red elements such as the classic three stripes on the shoulders add flashes of colour. The Union emblem and the adidas logo are also in the same shade of red.
Union’s new women’s away jersey is now available in all women’s sizes in Union stores and online at a price of €89.95 (children €69.95).
