After open and purposeful talks between the two clubs, VfL Wolfsburg and Scottish Premiership side Rangers have agreed a deal for Vaclav Cerny to join the Glasgow outfit on loan until the end of the 2024/25 campaign. The record Scottish champions are looking to reach the group stage of this season’s UEFA Champions League via the qualifying rounds.
Czech Republic international Cerny spent ten years in the Netherlands before joining the Wolves from Twente in 2023. The 26-year-old winger made 22 appearances in the Bundesliga and another three in the DFB Cup last season, registering five goals and one assist.
