Nine VfB stars on international duty

Waldemar Anton, Chris Führich, Maximilian Mittelstädt and Deniz Undav have been called up for Germany’s friendlies against France (Lyon, 23 March) and the Netherlands (Frankfurt, 26 March). Hiroki Ito (Japan), Wooyeong Jeong (South Korea) and Mo Dahoud (Syria) are in qualifying action for the 2026 World Cup, while Enzo Millot will hope to feature for France’s U23 side in two friendlies on home soil.
