Kolo, that was a very mature performance yesterday. What was your view of it?
“We played well. We got off to a good start, our positioning was good and we deserved to win. The three points are very important for us.”

Would you say the coach’s game plan worked? Beforehand, Oliver Glasner showed you the spaces Gladbach often leave – and as a team you found them very well in the first half.
“The team worked very well. The coach gave us a lot of instructions, which we were able to implement.”

The team appears to be in a good flow right now. How much are you enjoying playing at the moment?
“A lot. We have to keep working in exactly the same way because every game is so important. Then we’ll continue to have this positive energy that we need.”

There are two ‘finals’ coming up in the UEFA Champions League in order to stay in European competition going into next year. What will the approach to those be?
“Yes, they’re two finals. We have to be focused and listen to what the coach says. I’ll do my best to help the team.”

You joined Eintracht over the summer. How do you feel and how have you settled so far?
“I feel great. I’ve been really warmly welcomed by the boys. Eintracht is like a new home for me. It’s like a new family that I’ve gained.”
