Ten Borussia players called up for international duty
Ten players from Borussia’s first-team squad will be involved with their respective national teams during the first international break of the season over the next two weeks.
Austria
Austria’s national team coach Ralf Rangnick has called Max Wöber (Photo: imago images / Eibner) up to his squad for their friendly against Moldova on Thursday 7th September as well as their European Championship qualifier on Tuesday 12th September in Sweden.

Switzerland
Nico Elvedi will take part in two European Championship qualifiers with the Swiss national team. First, the Swiss side are the visitors in Kosovo on Saturday 9th September, before they take on Andorra on Tuesday 12th September.

Luxembourg
Yvandro Borges Sanches has been selected for the Luxembourg national team. He will face Iceland in a European Championship qualifier on Friday 8th September as well as taking on Portugal away from home on Monday 11th September in a qualifier. Borussia’s U19 goalkeeper Tiago Pereira Cardoso has been selected once again.

Czech Republic
Tomas Čvančara has been selected for Czech Republic, who first play against Albania in a European Championship qualifier on Thursday 7th September before travelling to Hungary for a friendly on Sunday 10th September.

Armenia
Armenian international Grant-Leon Ranos is set to take part in two European Championship qualifiers. On Friday 8th September, they are the visitors in Turkey, before facing Croatia on Monday 11th September.
