Three pre-season friendlies scheduled

Borussia are able to confirm three of their friendlies for pre-season. The Foals will face FC Wegberg-Beeck (20th July), Fortuna Sittard (25th July) and Racing Strasbourg (10th August).

The Foals’ first pre-season friendly will be on Saturday, 20th July at 15:30 CEST at FC Wegberg-Beeck. Tickets are available now for the game at the Waldstadion Beeck and can be bought at the fan shops at BORUSSIA-PARK or the Minto shopping centre. They cost 10€ for adults and 5€ for kids.

Borussia’s second friendly sees them visit Fortuna Sittard on Thursday, 25th July (13:00 CEST). Tickets details will follow in due course. Following this game, the Foals will be in Rottach-Egern for the annual summer training camp from Friday, 26th July to Friday, 2nd August.

The season-opening event will take place on Saturday, 10th August and Sunday, 11st August at BORUSSIA-Park and will be presented by new club sponsor Reuter. As part of this weekend, Borussia will play Racing Strasbourg at BORUSSIA-PARK on the Saturday at 15:30 CEST. Ticket details will also be announced shortly.

The following weekend sees competitive football return with the first round of the DFB-Pokal. Borussia have been drawn away against third-tier side FC Erzgebirge Aue. The tie will be played on Saturday, 17th August at 13:00 CEST. The first matchday of the new Bundesliga season is then set for the weekend after.
