Borussia Dortmund will visit FC Schalke 04 on Saturday. Kick-off is at 18:30 CET. We have compiled all the info on our Bundesliga away game in the usual compact format below. This page will be updated if there is any news.

Line-ups: Four new faces for the derby away to Schalke

Borussia Dortmund will be without Kobel (muscular problems), Reus (cold), Brandt (torn fibres), Adeyemi (lack of training), Moukoko (partial tear of the syndesmosis ligament), Duranville and Morey (both in fitness training), and will make four changes compared to the team that faced Chelsea in the Champions League on Tuesday: Hummels, Ryerson, Bynoe-Gittens and Malen have been introduced to the starting XI in place of Süle, Özcan, Brandt and Reus.

Referee: Marco Fritz to oversee the derby

Marco Fritz from Korb in Württemberg will referee the match, with Dominik Schaal and Marcel Pelgrim on the sidelines and Daniel Schlager as the video assistant. Fritz has already overseen 25 Bundesliga matches involving BVB (13 wins, three draws and nine defeats); the most recent of those was the 4-1 home loss to Leipzig and before that – in February 2022 – the 6-0 win in Gladbach. Marco Fritz referees for SV Breuningsweiler in the Württemberg State Federation. He has taken charge of 189 Bundesliga games to date.

Live broadcast: Sky & Net Radio

The match can be watched live on TV via Sky. The pre-match coverage will begin at 17:30 CET. Sebastian Hellmann will present the programme, with Tabea Kemme and Lothar Matthäus by his side on punditry duty. The BVB game will then be shown on Sky Sport Bundesliga 1 and Sky UHD and will be commentated on by Wolff Fuss. The BVB Net Radio will give you the usual Black & Yellow take, with Norbert Dickel and Christoph Bökamp on the mic. Match highlights plus the press conference and match reactions will be available on BVB TV, among others.
