Tim Oermann has signed his first professional contract. The central defender has been part of the club’s academy for ten years and made 14 appearances in the A-Junioren Bundesliga West last season. His contract with the blue and white is until 30.06.2024.
“Tim Oermann has been with us since U10s and has been through all the youth teams,” said Sebastian Schindzielorz, Director of Sport at VfL. “Developing our own players and training them with the view to making the leap to the first team is part of our club philosophy. Our Talentwerk academy is doing an outstanding job in this regard.”

I have grown in this club over the past ten years, as a player and as a person,” says Tim Oermann. “I identify with the values of the club and I’m looking forward to taking the next steps in my hometown.
