TSG Hoffenheim

Dennis Geiger extends until 2027

“Dennis is a textbook example of the Hoffenheim way. As a child of the region who came through the ranks in our academy, he stands for identification, passion and loyalty. His contract extension is a show of trust from both sides that is definitely not an everyday occurrence in this business,” said TSG director of football Alexander Rosen. “It brings great joy to see him consistently on the pitch this season after several health setbacks in the past. With his strong mindedness and tough tackling in addition to his great footballing qualities, he has increasingly developed into a leading player in our team recently. We’re delighted that Dennis has committed himself to his TSG, even at this challenging time.”

Borussia Dortmund

U19s now targeting title hat-trick

“I’ve congratulated the lads. You have to take your hat off to them. We’ve managed to reach the last eight for the second time in a row. The club has never managed that, and that makes us proud,” said coach Mike Tullberg, reflecting positively on the Youth League campaign. You simply cannot always win a penalty thriller – as was the case away to Manchester United last year or recently in the round of 16 against Paris Saint-Germain.
