New signing Naby Keïta suffered an adductor muscle injury whilst warming up for the game against VfB Oldenburg and will be out of action for several weeks. Scans and examinations with team doctor Dr. Georg Tsironis confirmed the injury on Monday.

The Wolves made a winning start to their 2023/24 pre-season preparations thanks to a 4-0 success over a Beck’s XI, made up of local amateur players selected by readers of the AZ/WAZ newspaper.
