The September sunshine was beating down on the pitch as SV Werder Bremen faced Borussia Mönchengladbach on Thursday evening. A generally even game was won late on by Werder thanks to an 85th-minute goal from Justin Njinmah. Lots of changes were made by both sides throughout the game, disrupting the flow of the game somewhat, but the Werder players yet to collect significant amounts of match time this season put in impressive performances.
