The German Football Association (DFB) has confirmed the dates and times for the first round of the DFB-Pokal, which will see SV Werder Bremen tackle FC Energie Cottbus in their opening fixture of the 2024/25 season. The clash is set to be held on Monday, 19th August 2024 (18:00 CEST) at the LEAG Energie Stadion.
