It’s fair to say that the Wolves don’t normally travel to Bayern as favourites. From 26 Bundesliga away games against the German record champions to date, they’ve never come away with three points. While the Bavarians can finish between second and fourth with two matchdays to go, the Green-and-Whites’ situation in the table is a lot more open: from 14th place to seventh, anything is theoretically still possible.

Although SV Werder Bremen battled hard to share the spoils with fourth-place side RB Leipzig on matchday 33, a number of the Green-Whites couldn’t help but think that all three points were very much on the cards. SVW put in a strong display against RBL, particularly in the first half, but were unable to defeat Leipzig on this occasion. WERDER.DE were in the mixed zone after the game to gather the reaction to the draw.
FCA’s head coach made three changes to the starting eleven for this game against Stuttgart, who have already qualified for next season’s Champions League. Kristijan Jakić returned in defensive midfielder following suspension and Niklas Dorsch also came in. The same went for Iago who had recovered from injury and was able to start in his final home game for FCA.
Ahead of the must-win game versus Hertha Berlin, journalist Archie Rhind-Tutt noticed something interesting during the warmup. While Muller wasn’t included in the starting XI this time, he was having an animated conversation with assistant coach Zsolt Low while the rest of the team warmed up. Just watching the video, it’s clear that they were talking about tactics.
Eventually, the action on the pitch brought an end to the emotional farewells, as both sides braced themselves for a huge clash in the race to qualify for Europe next season. Freiburg got off to a better start and looked to attack the hosts early on, bolstered by the return of Nicolas Höfler, who missed last weekend’s stalemate with Köln due to suspension. The first real chance of the game fell to Heidenheim’s Jonas Föhrenbach, however. SCF would have their first sight of goal in the 13th minute of the match, with Keitel heading over following a free kick. The hosts would not have to wait long for their next opportunity, as Michael Gregoritsch fired just wide two minutes later.
VfB Stuttgart picked up a win on their travels to FC Augsburg on Bundesliga Matchday 33, with Serhou Guirassy scoring the only goal of the game in the second half.
“On behalf of 1. FC Union Berlin, I would like to express my heartfelt condolences on the sudden death of your president Kay Bernstein.

The 21-year-old winger caught the eye in his debut campaign with four goals and three assists in 31 Bundesliga games, but the young Pole has found it a bit more difficult this season. In this interview, Kaminski talks about his assist against Darmstadt, the European Championship and the upcoming away match against Bayern Munich.
