DFB-Pokal: TSG to play in Würzburg on a Friday evening

TSG’s first competitive match of the new season has been scheduled: Hoffenheim will be away to Regionalliga club Würzburger Kickers at 18:00 CEST on 16 August. Würzburg, who were coached by former TSG U23 boss Marco Wildersinn last season, narrowly missed out on promotion to the 3. Liga due to a 5-4 penalty shootout defeat to Hannover 96 II. Wildersinn, who will take over the reins at Stuttgarter Kickers next term, will be replaced in the dugout by Markus Zschiesche.
