Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham has reportedly stopped talking to Real Madrid amid interest from Liverpool and Manchester City.

Bellingham is being targeted by some of the biggest clubs in the world heading into the summer transfer window.

He is under contract at Dortmund until 2025 but it is being heavily reported that he will move on before next season.

A fresh report from Spanish outlet Nacional states ‘Bellingham has distanced himself from Real Madrid’.

‘His family is pressuring him to agree to return to his native country’ so he can ‘try his luck in the Premier League, where he has also received many very interesting offers’.

and Co. have three advantages over Real Madrid. They can ‘guarantee’ Bellingham a ‘crucial role’, offer him a ‘higher salary’ and they can ‘readily pay whatever’ Dortmund want. The report adds he is ‘valued at a minimum of 140 million euros’ and the Spanish giants have deemed this fee to be ‘too excessive’.

The ‘calls’ from Liverpool and Man City are ‘interesting’ to Bellingham. The Premier League holders are ‘obsessed’ with the idea of signing the teenager.

Liverpool meanwhile are ‘insisting on convincing’ Bellingham, but he has ‘doubts’ over a move to Anfield with it looking unlikely that they will be playing in the Champions League next season.

A separate report from journalist Ben Jacobs recently revealed that Liverpool “have a large amount of confidence” that they will sign Bellingham.

“Liverpool still see Jude Bellingham as a priority in that midfield and contrary to some reports, Bellingham hasn’t made up his mind. But Liverpool have done a lot of legwork and have a large amount of confidence,” Jacobs told TEAMtalk.

“As a result, they haven’t given up and they don’t believe that missing out on Champions League football will necessarily impact things too much because what Liverpool do is give players a consistent narrative.

“They always start courting those they want early and developing relationships with the player and their family and their agent. And by having that trust and by having that relationship they believe that they can sell based on the project and the ambition of the club and the manager rather than solely on what they do or don’t have come the end of the season so Bellingham will be a big priority for Liverpool.

“Chelsea are there, they are minor players, they’re certainly not serious contenders at this point.

“And the advantage Liverpool have as a Premier League club is they might be able to blow Real Madrid out of the water in terms of the price that they’re prepared to pay.”
