VfL Wolfsburg have made Polish goalkeeper Kamil Grabara their first new signing for the 2024/25 season. The 24-year-old will join the club on a long-term contract from Danish champions and Champions League participants FC Copenhagen in July 2024. The two clubs have agreed not to disclose the transfer fee.
“We’re confident that, in Kamil Grabara, we’ve found a high-quality solution for the upcoming departure of Koen Casteels and are very pleased we’ve been able to reach an early agreement with the player and the club,” said VfL sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz. “Kamil has played a key role in FC Copenhagen’s successes over the past two years and has also delivered strong performances in Europe. We hope he’ll continue his impressive development this term and are pleased he’ll be part of our squad from next season onwards.”
