It was important for us to get off to a good start, and then everything went our way. We defended with discipline and played good football. From my point of view, these things were decisive in the end.”
Marco Friedl: “It was a difficult week for us as we didn’t know how Hertha would shape up with a new coach. We worked hard together and kept the focus on our own game. I have to praise the team first as we came together really well, but Duckschi did a sensational job today. When one is missing, the other is still there.
