Europa League in the Alte Försterei

Due to UEFA’s decision to lead a pilot project allowing standing at European fixtures, Union have received official confirmation that they will be allowed to play their games at home.

1. FC Union will play their forthcoming Europa League matches at the Stadium an der Alten Försterei. Due to UEFA’s decision to lead a pilot project allowing standing at European fixtures, Union have received official confirmation that they will be allowed to play their games at home.

For the first time in the club’s history Union will celebrate European nights at the Alte Försterei, and all members of the club will have the opportunity to attend at least one of the group games.

In order to give all members the chance to experience at least one Europa League match live at the Alte Försterei, tickets for the three home matches in the group phase will be allocated in a draw. Eligibility to buy a ticket for the home matches in the group stage will be decided from Friday 12.08.2022 by the drawing of lots among eligible Union members*.

As the total amount of tickets available exceeds that of Union members, it is guaranteed that every member participating in the draw will win the right to purchase at least one ticket for one match.

The release of tickets for the individual matches will then take place on three consecutive days. Further information on the procedure of the draw will be sent to all Union members by e-mail and can be found in this question and answer page .

*Eligible: All Union members since 01.08.2022 aged 6 and over on that date
Limitation: 1 ticket per person
