Wooyeong Jeong joins Union Berlin on loan

The South Korean forward joined VfB at the start of last season from SC Freiburg and has made 29 appearances in all competitions, registering two goals and three assists.

“We had some open and honest discussions with Wooyeong and agreed that a move would be the best option for him at the moment to get regular playing time,” said board member for sport Fabian Wohlgemuth. “We would like to thank Wooyeong for his commitment in the VfB shirt and wish him all the best for his spell with Union.”
