VfB Stuttgart and SC Freiburg have agreed on a transfer of Florian Müller to the Breisgau club. The 25-year-old goalkeeper made 49 Bundesliga appearances for VfB over the last two seasons and also started both legs of the successful relegation play-off against Hamburger SV. The Saarland-born shot-stopper joined VfB in summer 2021 from 1. FSV Mainz 05 on the back of representing Germany at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

In our talks together we’ve now come to an agreement that a transfer of Flo to SC Freiburg is a sensible and suitable move for all parties.
