€56,000 in earthquake relief

The raffle with VfBfairplay sponsor Stars4Kids raised €10,000 through ticket sales. As announced, that total will now be doubled by VfBfairplay. In addition, proceeds of €36,000 from the sale of 1,100 tickets for the match against Köln, which were purchased between 14 February and kick-off, will also go into the fundraising pot. The projects therefore reached a total of €56,000 for aid following the earthquake disaster in Turkey and Syria.

Twenty thousand euros of that will be passed by Stars4Kids onto aid organisation Humedica, which carries out humanitarian work worldwide with a focus on disaster operations and medical care and is already providing support in the affected regions. The other €36,000 will shortly go to other institutions that are helping in the earthquake areas.
