Mainz 05 release special carnival shirts for 2023

Nothing embodies Mainz as much as carnival – apart from maybe the Mainz cathedral. 1. FSV Mainz 05 have therefore combined both ideas in unison in their design of their 2023 carnival kit to create a particularly foolish, four-coloured kit. The classic Mainz carnival colours of red, white, blue and green form a large M on the front of the kit familiar with the club pattern of the Zerofivers. Rounding off the kit are small silhouettes of the Mainz cathedral and jester’s caps woven into the pattern. KÖMMERLING, the main sponsor and kit sponsor of the Zerofivers, can be seen with a white logo on the chest. The carnival outfit is rounded off with red shorts and four-coloured socks.

The unique kit, developed by designers Kappa out of sustainable and recycled polyester, will be available for purchase exclusively in the fan shops and online shop for 84.95 euros from 11th January. The kit comes in sizes from XS to 3XL.

In buying the kit, all Zerofiver fans can do something good at the same time: five euros of every sale will go to Friends Association for Tumours and Children with Leukaemia of Mainz, which is dedicated to the pyscho-social care of children affected and their relatives from diagnosis to aftercare, as well as providing medical care on the paediatric oncology ward at Mainz University Medical Centre.
