Marco Rose on…
…the win against FC St. Gallen
- “We wanted to win and start the year off with a victory, and that’s exactly what we’ve done. We’ve had five training sessions over the past three days, which means the boys are pretty tired. The opposition also played with a lot of aggression and intensity. We’re happy that nobody got injured and that we kept a clean sheet.”
…the training camp
- “We’ve honed a lot of areas of our game and worked on tactics. That’s why our time in Spain has paid off and then some. The conditions have been ideal for our preparation for next week.”
…RBL’s young talent
- “I’m very happy with the development of our youth players. We’ve put a couple of things on the right track. It means that we might be able to offer a couple of players some more gametime. Nuha Jatta played very well after coming off the bench today and Yannick Eduardo is another young player who’s starting to stand out.”
