Hard work every day!
RB Leipzig are currently preparing for the remainder of the 2023/24 season in La Manga, Spain. Before the lads departed Germany, they had to pack their suitcases. Nicolas Seiwald revealed what he cannot be without during a training camp, who his toughest opponent is in training and who he’d like to share a room with.
We also reflected on the past and spoke about the future with Nici.

Nicolas Seiwald on…
…the setup for the training camp
- “Everything is great here. The team is in high spirits and the mood within camp is excellent. Our training sessions so far have been really successful and we’re excited for tomorrow’s friendly now.”
…the time after his move
- “I have settled into life in Leipzig. I feel like a real part of the team and I also like the city too. However, things haven’t gone how I’d hoped they would on the pitch. I’m sticking at it and I’ve already experienced a lot of important things so far.”
…the fixture list at the start of 2024
- “Eintracht Frankfurt, Bayer Leverkusen and VfB Stuttgart will be three really tricky games to start off with. Their names and positions in the table speak for themselves. They will be top-class games, which we want to win.”
